Today the world celebrate world day against child labor under the theme: "Social Justice for All, End Child Labour." Research on child labor in refugee communities highlights several important aspects. Here are some key findings: 1. Vulnerability: Child labor is often prevalent in refugee communities due to the unique vulnerabilities faced by displaced populations. Factors such as poverty, lack of access to education, limited livelihood opportunities, and uncertain legal status contribute to increased risks of child labor. 2. Economic necessity: Many refugee families resort to child labor as a means to cope with extreme poverty and fulfill basic needs. The loss of livelihoods and limited resources in refugee settings can push children into work at an early age, often in hazardous or exploitative conditions. 3. Makth Deu know as well Eddu the comedian he was one of the judges who facilitated running of the first competition at turkana cafeteria, it was a very  good  time sharing and working with him. A lady presenting her work during the interview  session, young people are really excited  to join the initiative. We can't wait the second season.

  Overviews Who is ART YETU? It is owned by local Visual Artist and Entrepreneur MUDADI SAIDI well known as GuiArt, Founder of Mudadi Saidi Arts which is a well registered business company that provides painting and printing works. Mudadi's vision is to empower young artist through visual Art and enable them building their capacity and careers. (Access to education.) #SDGs4Education. Art Yetu is placed around the community in purpose to enable Artist to contribute to their Industry by displaying their artworks and gain profits (access to employment.) History   In 2019, Art Yetu program starts in kakuma refugee camp under the shade of Ethiopian library, it was not an easy work, the program had 11 students among them one female, later on the program failed due to lack of support and some of the challenges were due to students they weren't committed as well, some of them dropped out and remaining with 6 students, others were coming twice a week while our program was 5 days a week,
